Riyadh:Marine fishing heritage is making its debut at the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026, showcasing a prominent sailing vessel along with stations for boat-building, net-making, and rope-twisting. These crafts and skills have been passed down through generations.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the exhibition offers visitors a glimpse into traditional marine fishing expeditions, with artisans demonstrating each craft. The vessel displays various artifacts and tools once used on board, evoking the lifestyle of sailors and fishermen and illustrating how these tools were utilized.
The inclusion of marine fishing is part of this year's exhibition, which features diverse experiences and zones highlighting aspects of hunting, heritage, and traditional crafts. This allows visitors to explore practices and skills deeply rooted in the lives of Saudi Arabia's residents and preserved across generations.
The event is being held from October 1 to 10 at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Center in Malham, located north of Riyadh.
