Lusail:Lusail Palace: King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud of Saudi Arabia has extended an invitation to Qatar's Amir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, to participate in the upcoming second Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC)-European Union (EU) Summit scheduled to be hosted by Saudi Arabia in October.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the invitation was delivered by Saudi Ambassador to Qatar, Prince Saad bin Mansour bin Saad, during a meeting with Amir Tamim at Lusail Palace. The ambassador also conveyed King Salman's greetings and best wishes for the health and prosperity of the Qatari people.
In response, Amir Tamim requested that the ambassador relay his greetings and well-wishes to King Salman and expressed hopes for the continued prosperity and progress of the Saudi people.
The meeting also included discussions on the strong fraternal relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia, as well as exploring ways to further develop and enhance these ties.
