Jeddah:The Jeddah Municipality has introduced a video appointment service using the Webex platform to enhance communication with beneficiaries and broaden the range of services and departments available.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the service allows beneficiaries to directly communicate with officials and specialists via audio and video, after scheduling an appointment. This initiative aims to provide a more flexible communication channel, improve response times, and enhance the tracking of requests.

The service encompasses numerous departments and specializations, including the Surveying and Geospatial Information Systems Center, the Technical Affairs Division within the Sub-Municipalities Agency, and units responsible for surveying decisions, building permits, land and property, and operations and maintenance. Beneficiaries can also schedule meetings with deputy mayors.

Beneficiaries can book video appointments through the customer portal at https://services.jeddah.gov.sa/Pages/ServiceInfo.aspx?id=229. This initiative is part of the municipality's ongoing efforts to expand digital communication channels, improving procedural efficiency and enhancing the beneficiary experience.
