Riyadh:The General Directorate of Border Guard is presenting its Portable Thermal Surveillance System at the Ministry of Interior's pavilion during the International Saudi Falcons and Hunting Exhibition 2026. This system plays a crucial role in surveillance and reconnaissance efforts to safeguard the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's borders.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the mobile thermal surveillance system employs infrared imaging to identify targets and a laser rangefinder to ascertain their coordinates. This technology is vital for monitoring and intercepting individuals who violate Border Security Laws and for tracking smugglers in challenging terrains, thereby strengthening the security of the Kingdom's borders.
