Saudi Media Academy Completes Second Edition of Media Leaders Program

Riyadh:The Saudi Media Academy, under the Ministry of Media, has successfully concluded the second edition of its Media Leaders program. The closing ceremony took place at the Ministry of Media headquarters in Riyadh and was attended by Vice Minister of Media and Chairman of the academy's Board of Directors, Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Mughlooth, along with several officials and participating leaders.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Mughlooth honored the participating leaders by presenting them with certificates of completion. These leaders had completed the program's two training stages held in the United Kingdom and France. Additionally, Emdad from Elm Company and Zanjabeel Creative Company were recognized for their partnership and support in implementing the training programs, which enhanced the program's quality.

The program, spanning two weeks, involved 40 leaders from various government and private sectors. Participants engaged in 48 hours of intensive training, combining academic insights with practical applications through lectures and interactive workshops delivered by nine international experts. The program also included four field visits to notable media institutions in the UK and France.

The training was divided into two stages. The first stage was conducted in London, featuring the Strategic Leadership and Institutional Transformation in Media program in collaboration with London Business School. The second stage took place in Fontainebleau, France, focusing on Advanced Leadership for Impact and Innovation in Media, in partnership with INSEAD.

This initiative by the Saudi Media Academy is part of a broader effort to cultivate national talent in the media sector, equipping leaders with advanced skills and knowledge to adapt to the industry's fast-paced changes.
