Riyadh:Asian Football Confederation (AFC) President and FIFA Senior Vice President Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa has congratulated the Saudi national football team on their victory in the Arabian Gulf Cup 27, emphasizing the team's distinguished standing in regional and continental football.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Sheikh Salman commended the strong performances of the Saudi team throughout the tournament, highlighting the determination and resilience demonstrated by the players in their matches.

The AFC President also remarked on the competitive nature of the Gulf Cup 27, which served as valuable preparation for the participating teams ahead of the AFC Asian Cup 2027.

Additionally, Sheikh Salman praised Saudi Arabia for successfully hosting the Gulf Cup 27, noting that the event was organized in an outstanding manner, showcasing the Kingdom's strong reputation for hosting sporting events at various levels.
