Manama:Bahrain has strongly condemned the recent terrorist attacks on Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport, which resulted in casualties, injuries, and material damage.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs issued a statement affirming that the targeting of airports and civilian facilities is a criminal act, violating international law and humanitarian principles. The ministry described these attacks as a dangerous escalation that threatens regional security and civil aviation safety.

Bahrain reiterated its unwavering solidarity with Saudi Arabia, supporting all measures taken by Saudi authorities to ensure security and protect citizens and residents. The statement emphasized that Saudi Arabia's security is closely linked with Bahrain's security and that of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC).

The ministry also extended condolences to Saudi Arabia, Morocco, Algeria, and Sudan, as well as to the families of the victims, offering prayers for the deceased and wishing a speedy recovery for the injured.
