Wadi Al-Hamd Seasonal Watercourse in Western Saudi Arabia

Jakarta:Wadi Al-Hamd is a seasonal watercourse located in western Saudi Arabia, stretching approximately 400 kilometers from north of Madinah to the Red Sea, situated between Al-Wajh and Umluj governorates.

Accourding to Saudi Press Agency, the wadi runs northwest through the regions of Madinah and Tabuk before turning westward towards the coast. It is a well-documented feature in the Encyclopedia of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, published by the King Abdulaziz Public Library.

The main tributaries of Wadi Al-Hamd include Wadi Al-Aqiq, Wadi Al-Jizl, Wadi Khaybar, and Wadi Al-Eis. During rainy seasons, these tributaries converge in its channel, forming a network of wadis that feed into the main watercourse.
