Riyadh:Egypt has strongly condemned the attacks targeting King Khalid International Airport and a Saudia aircraft, which resulted in the death of three Saudi citizens and injuries to several others.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Egyptian Foreign Ministry issued a statement today expressing its categorical rejection of the assault, describing it as a clear violation of international law. The ministry reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in all measures undertaken to protect its security, national sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents.

The ministry emphasized that such assaults on civil aviation threaten regional and international peace and stability. It extended sincere condolences to the Saudi leadership, government, and people, while wishing the injured a swift recovery.
