Madinah:The Consul General of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sirojiddin Shamsutdinov, visited Taibah University in Madinah, accompanied by Deputy Consul General Abdulazim Kabuljanov and Executive Secretary Ibrahim Al-Bukhari.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Uzbek delegation met with Taibah University President Dr. Nawal Alrasheed to discuss enhancing academic and educational cooperation and exchanging scientific expertise.

During their meeting, both parties explored opportunities for mutual cooperation and the development of academic relationships with international educational institutions. This collaboration aims to facilitate knowledge exchange and strengthen scientific and cultural partnerships.

The delegation received a presentation detailing the university's history, academic programs, and its branches across the Madinah Region. Additionally, it highlighted the region's religious, historical, and cultural attractions and the scholarship opportunities available to international students.

This visit is part of Taibah University's broader initiative to bolster its international academic profile and expand partnerships with educational institutions globally. It aligns with the Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, which focus on advancing education and developing human capabilities.
