Jazan:The Jazan Industrial Chemistry Society (JICS) conducted two online scientific workshops as part of its Enrichment Content Program, aiming to enhance research skills and promote the industrial application of current technologies.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the first workshop addressed the use of the ChemSpider chemical database for scientific research, along with the principles of green chemistry and sustainable practices. This session attracted 70 participants.

The second workshop concentrated on nanotechnology, exploring its industrial applications and methods for translating laboratory research into products and manufacturing processes. It drew the participation of 68 individuals.

Dr. Majid Almashnowi, Chairman of JICS, stated that the workshops provided training to 138 participants over six hours, with the involvement of 14 volunteers. These efforts are part of the society's initiative to bridge the gap between scientific research and industry demands.
