The General Directorate of Intelligence and Security announced the arrest of two ISIS members in Salah al-Din and the arrest of a foreign human trafficker in Baghdad.

The Directorate stated in a statement, “with a qualitative and proactive operation, through which the detachments of the Salah Al-Din Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated to the General Directorate of Intelligence and Security at the Ministry of Defense were able to overthrow two members belonging to the terrorist ISIS gangs, through their presence in the Dhuluiya district of Salah al-Din Governorate, two arrest warrants were issued against them in accordance with the provisions of Article (1/4), terrorism is one of the objectives of the Directorate above.

It continued, that the detachments of the Baghdad Intelligence and Security Directorate affiliated to the same directorate arrested a foreign suspect who leads a network specialized in human trafficking by bringing foreigners into the country illegally using the side roads and forging residence seals, where the directorate’s detachments arrested (13) people of Foreign nationalities were hiding in one of the orchards in the Jadriya region. Legal measures were taken against them and they were referred to the competent authorities.
