The Chief of Staff of the Army, General Abd Al-Amir Rashid Yarallah, met today, Sunday, the Commander of the NATO Mission in Iraq, General Jose Antonio, and a number of the mission’s advisors.
According to a statement by the Ministry of Defense, the meeting dealt with discussing aspects of cooperation and coordination and expanding the partnership at the level of training between the two sides, in addition to developing educational staff and preparing external courses for non-commissioned officers in order to raise the level of training in the ranks of the Iraqi army to reach the required level of training and educational cadres.
For his part, the Army Chief of Staff confirmed the participation of all training institutions of the Ministry of Defense in these important courses in order to make the training mission a success, which is in the interest of the military institution./ End
