PM Directs To Impose Maximum Legal Penalties Against Negligent People Who Caused Al-Hamdaniya Fire

Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani directed to impose the maximum legal penalties against the negligent people who caused al-Hamdaniya fire.

A statement from his media office said that Al-Sudani continued following, this Thursday morning, in the field, providing treatment to those injured in Al-Hamdaniya district fire incident, and visited those admitted in the Republican Hospital and Al-Hamdaniya Hospital, accompanied by the Ministers of Interior, Health, Culture and Immigration.

According to the statement, the Prime Minister reviewed the conditions of the injured, listened to the families of the victims, and offered his condolences and sympathy to them, directing that all treatment requirements be provided without delay, and that critical cases be immediately transferred outside Iraq for recovery.

Al-Sudani also held a meeting in which he confirmed his directives to continue inspecting public buildings, event halls, restaurants, and hotels, and examining public safety conditions, precautions, and measures to prevent fires and potential accidents.

According to the statement, the Prime Minister stressed that the directors of administrative units bear the responsibility of ensuring the safety of these procedures, and he also directed that the maximum legal penalties be imposed against the negligent people who caused the painful fire incident.
