Jeddah, The Islamic Development Bank (IsDB), in cooperation with the Kuala Lumpur-based Center of Excellence, and the Turkish Centre for Capacity Management Development, has organized a workshop in Azerbaijan on improving the halal environment.

The workshop, which took place on October 12 to 13, was attended by various public and private institutions in Azerbaijan. The main objective of the workshop was to engage stakeholders in a discussion regarding the creation of an environmental system that would allow Azerbaijan to capitalize on expanding international halal market.
