Baghdad - Al-Qassam Brigades announced that they were able to kill large numbers of Zionist occupation soldiers and destroy a tank battalion.

The military Spokesman for Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, said: “Our mujahideen continue to confront the occupation forces in the various axes of the Zionist incursion,” noting, “The elite forces of Al-Qassam Brigades were able to go behind the enemy lines in the fighting axes and engage with them from zero distance.”

He added, "Our mujahideen were able to kill large numbers of enemy soldiers in several areas of fighting," explaining, "The death toll numbers are much higher than what the leadership of the Zionist enemy announces."

Abu Ubaida continued, “We carried out a counterattack this evening on the northwestern route of Gaza City, during which we destroyed 6 tanks and two troop carriers,” explaining, “A tank battalion was destroyed since the enemy’s attempt to incursion.”

He stressed: “The martyrdom of thousands of our people will increase our strength and violence to make the enemy pay a heavy price, and we will make Gaza the curse of history on the Zionist entity.”
