A force from the 40th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces carried out today, Saturday a security operation in Kirkuk Governorate.

According to the Popular Mobilization Commission statement, the operation included searching Zab region and the areas within the responsibility sector in Kirkuk Governorate.

The statement added, “This operation comes after receiving intelligence information about the infiltration of elements of the remnants of the terrorist ISIS.”
