The Basra Police arrested a gang that stole mobile phones and women’s bags from employees while they were leaving official working hours.

The spokesman for the Basra Police Command, Colonel Ali Al-Maliki, said in a press statement, “Al-Rabat police arrested a gang consisting of five people who were stealing mobile phones and women’s bags from employees while they were leaving their official working hours.”

He added, “A Kalashnikov rifle and drug-using tools were seized from one of the gang members.
