Unidentified gunmen assassinated a policeman by shooting him near Baquba, Diyala Governorate Center.
A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) that unknown gunmen assassinated a member of the Federal Police by shooting him near his house in Al-Sada area on the outskirts of Baquba, which led to his immediate death.
He added that a police force arrived at the scene of the incident and began a combing operation searching for the gunmen.
