Riyadh: The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Project for the Utilization of Hady and Adahi (Adahi) conducted an operational trial involving the slaughter of 9,600 sheep across designated slaughter complexes. This trial was part of the project's comprehensive preparations for this year's Hajj season, aimed at verifying the technical and operational readiness to perform the ritual according to the standards of religious and health requirements.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the purpose of the trial was to assess the efficiency of operational procedures and measure the performance speed at various stages of slaughtering. The trial also included evaluating the readiness of the Plus Freezing Monitoring System and implementing unified protocols for sterilization and food safety across all slaughterhouses involved in the project.
Project Supervisor General Saad Al-Wabel stated that the trial is a component of a broader plan to enhance the operational system's efficiency and identify areas requiring improvement before the actual ritual begins. He highlighted that the trial covered all technical and logistical aspects to ensure the delivery of a safe food product that meets religious requirements and veterinary regulations.
Al-Wabel further mentioned that the project is committed to developing its human and technical capabilities by adopting international practices in slaughtering, cooling, packaging, and distribution. These efforts are intended to ensure the smooth execution of the ritual and improve the satisfaction of pilgrims and beneficiaries. Specialized teams will analyze the trial's results to refine execution procedures, consistent with the project's dedication to providing exemplary services that reflect the Kingdom's commitment to caring for pilgrims and demonstrate high-quality organization and readiness.
