Advisory Sessions Begin for Hajjathon 4’s Second Phase to Improve Pilgrim Services

Riyadh: Advisory sessions began Tuesday as part of the second phase of Hajjathon 4, organized by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Institute for Hajj and Umrah Research at Umm Al-Qura University. The event is being held as part of the 26th Scientific Forum for Hajj, Umrah and Visit Research. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Hajjathon's fourth edition reflects Umm Al-Qura University's efforts to promote innovation and leverage knowledge and modern technologies to develop the system of Hajj, Umrah, and visit services. The advisory sessions feature several specialized tracks aimed at supporting participants and guiding them in developing viable, innovative ideas and solutions to address challenges within the Hajj and Umrah services system and enhance the efficiency of services provided to pilgrims. The sessions cover four main tracks: Engineering and Infrastructure, Healthcare, Technology and AI, and Awareness and Crowd Management. The diverse tracks reflect the broad range of fields targeted by Hajjat hon 4, enabling participants to benefit from specialized expertise in developing their projects and initiatives. The sessions provide participants with technical and knowledge-based guidance, helping them understand the nature of challenges within each track and formulate solutions based on scientific and innovative methodologies. They seek to promote the use of emerging technologies and AI to develop solutions that improve service quality, enhance operational efficiency, and enrich pilgrims' experience.
