Agriculture Ambassadors Initiative Concludes in Aseer

Aseer: The Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture's Aseer branch concluded the 30-day Ambassadors of Agriculture 2025 initiative yesterday, which witnessed wide interaction across various media outlets, with 94 participating entities.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the closing ceremony was attended by farmers, beekeepers, and those interested in the agricultural sector. The event featured presentations of outstanding farms and agricultural initiatives in the region, emphasizing the importance of sustaining the initiative throughout the year to highlight the development role of farmers.

The Aseer branch highlighted the role of partnerships and integration among participating departments and entities in ensuring the initiative's success. The initiative was carried out voluntarily with the involvement of 206 volunteers from different fields.

Aseer Region is considered one of the Kingdom's leading agricultural regions, home to more than 70,000 diverse farms producing coffee, honey, seasonal fruits, and grains. This makes it a key contributor to food security and a driver of agricultural tourism in the Kingdom.
