Makkah: The Ministry of Tourism has confirmed that tourism facilities and businesses can hire temporary workers to meet increased demand during peak seasons, when hospitality, travel, and tourism services experience higher workloads. These contracts can be facilitated through the Ajeer platform, which is managed by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development.
According to Saudi Press Agency, tourism and hospitality establishments can register on the Ajeer platform to post temporary or seasonal job openings and use services such as the tourism seasons program to address increased workforce demand during peak periods.
This announcement coincides with the onset of the peak season for hospitality and tourism services in Makkah and Madinah regions during Ramadan, ahead of the forthcoming Hajj season.
