Al-Lith Governor Inspects Yalamlam Miqat Readiness for Hajj

Al-Lith: Al-Lith Governor Imran Al-Zahrani inspected Yalamlam Miqat on Monday to assess its preparedness to receive and dispatch pilgrims heading to Makkah and the holy sites during the 1446 AH Hajj season.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Zahrani reviewed coordination efforts by all relevant security and service agencies, along with nonprofit organizations supporting this year's Hajj operations. He examined the services available at the miqat mosque and the surrounding areas, which recently underwent major development projects led by the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites. Yalamlam Miqat Mosque, covering 10,000 square meters and accommodating over 5,000 worshippers, operates with the support of more than 300 staff.

Al-Zahrani also inspected the readiness of medical teams, ambulance units, volunteer groups, and field forces across sectors to ensure full operational preparedness ahead of the anticipated influx of pilgrims.
