Riyadh: President of the General Court of Audit Dr. Hussam Alangari conducted two significant bilateral meetings today with Janar Holm, Auditor General of the National Audit Office of Estonia, and Helga Berger, Chair of the Audit Quality Control Committee at the European Court of Auditors. These meetings took place on the sidelines of the 20th annual symposium of the General Court of Audit, hosted at the court headquarters in Riyadh, focusing on 'The Role of Auditing in Enhancing the Efficiency and Effectiveness of the Public Sector.'

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions during the meetings centered on exploring collaboration opportunities in accounting, oversight, and professional areas. The leaders also deliberated on the exchange of expertise within international and regional organizations of supreme audit institutions, aiming to strengthen the auditing practices globally.
