Al-Jawf: The General Directorate of Narcotics Control has apprehended a citizen in the Al-Jawf region on charges of promoting hashish and tablets that are subject to medical circulation regulations. The individual has been detained, with legal measures undertaken, and subsequently referred to the Public Prosecution.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the security authorities have urged citizens and residents to report any information related to drug smuggling or promotion. Reports can be made by contacting the numbers (911) in the regions of Makkah Al-Mukarramah, Madinah Al-Munawwarah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Province, and (999) in the rest of the Kingdom's regions. Additionally, reports can be submitted through the General Directorate of Narcotics Control's reporting number (995), with assurances that all reports will be handled with complete confidentiality.
