Madinah:The League of Arab States has condemned the Houthi militia's attack on a power distribution facility that supplies electricity to the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Arab League highlighted that such attacks on vital civilian infrastructure are unacceptable violations and show a disregard for the sanctity of holy sites as well as the safety of civilian facilities.

The League expressed concern that this incident provokes the feelings of Muslims worldwide and represents a dangerous escalation by the Houthi militia. It underscored the importance of respecting the sanctity of holy sites and ensuring their protection from any hostile or military actions.

The League also reaffirmed its full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, expressing support for the Kingdom in its efforts to confront attacks that threaten its security, stability, sovereignty, and the safety of its citizens and residents.
