Arab League’s Permanent Committee for Arab Media Discusses Key Agenda in Cairo

Cairo: The 103rd regular session of the Arab League's Permanent Committee for Arab Media convened today in Cairo as part of preparations for the 21st meeting of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers and its 55th session. The meeting brought together heads of Arab delegations, representatives of media institutions, and unions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Arabia's delegation was led by Undersecretary of the Ministry of Media for International Media Relations Dr. Khalid bin Abdulqader Al-Ghamdi. The Palestinian cause topped the committee's agenda, alongside discussions on the use of artificial intelligence in Arab media, Arab-Chinese media cooperation, the formation of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers, and the date and venue of the 104th regular session of the Permanent Committee for Arab Media and the 22nd session of the Executive Office.

The committee is expected to present its concluding report, including recommendations and draft resolutions on all agenda items, to the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Information Ministers for review and adoption.
