Doha: The Arab Parliament has welcomed the outcomes of the Arab-Islamic emergency summit held in Doha, which addressed the Israeli attack on the State of Qatar.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Arab Parliament Speaker Mohammed Al Yamahi stated that the summit's final resolution embodies a unified Arab and Islamic position in confronting Israeli aggression and rejecting the ongoing genocidal war against the Palestinian people.
Al Yamahi praised the final statement for its full support for Qatar, its rejection of any threats to its sovereignty, and its solidarity with the nation's response to the aggression. He noted that the summit's strong stance reflects the collective will of Arab and Islamic countries to stand with the Palestinian people, calling on the international community to assume its legal and humanitarian responsibilities to halt the genocide and hold Israel accountable.
The speaker emphasized that the summit's unified voice sent a strong message to the world, urging immediate action to end the crimes of the occupation. He affirmed that the Arab Parliament will continue to support these collective Arab and Islamic positions in international forums.
