The security forces in Maysan arrested the instigators of a clan quarrel that caused the death of a citizen in Al-Kahla district, south of the governorate.

Maysan Police Command said in a statement, a copy of which the National Iraqi News Agency (NINA) received: “A security force carried out a series of raids and inspections of the whereabouts of the suspects who provoked a clan quarrel in the aforementioned district.

The Command added: “The searches resulted in the arrest of (6) suspects and the confiscation of weapons and equipment they had in their possession, indicating that the necessary legal measures had been taken against them.”/ End
