Riyadh: The Saudi national badminton team has achieved a new international milestone, reflecting the sport's rapid development, as national players Amer Mohammed and Nabiha Shariff have reached the world's top 20 in the mixed doubles rankings for 2025, according to the Badminton World Federation (BWF) rankings. According to Saudi Press Agency, this achievement further underscores the excellence of Saudi players, as Amer Mohammed has also reached the world's top 35 in the junior singles category for 2025, reflecting strong technical ability and marked progress in age-group performance. This global progress marks a pivotal milestone in Saudi badminton's journey, contributing to the Kingdom's entry into the world's top 20 nations in the sport.
