Riyadh: The Kingdom of Bahrain condemned and denounced in the strongest terms the attempted terrorist attack targeting oil facilities in Saudi Arabia's Eastern Region and Riyadh Region using drones launched from Iraqi territory by Iranian-backed terrorist militias. Bahrain described the attack as a flagrant violation of international law and the Charter of the United Nations, a blatant challenge to UN Security Council Resolution 2817, a threat to regional security, stability, and energy supplies, and a systematic undermining of de-escalation efforts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs affirmed the Kingdom of Bahrain's full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and its unwavering support for all measures the Kingdom takes to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and stability, and to protect its territory and civilian and critical facilities. The ministry stressed that Saudi Arabia's security and stability are an integral part of Bahrain's national security and that any threat to them is not directed at a single country alone, but rather undermines the security of the region as a whole and the interests of its peoples.

The ministry also reiterated the GCC's position calling for the swift implementation of the decision to place all weapons under state control in the Republic of Iraq within the timeframe announced by the Iraqi government. It further called for all necessary and decisive measures to prevent Iraqi territory from being used as a launching point for any attack against countries in the region.
