Al-Khobar:The General Directorate of Border Guard has launched an exhibition at the Ministry of Interior club in Al-Khobar, aimed at promoting maritime safety and reducing drowning risks. The exhibition will continue until October 11.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event focuses on educating the public about coastal regulations and the penalties for swimming in unauthorized areas. It also covers sea safety procedures and highlights the Border Guard's search-and-rescue efforts along with vessel inspection protocols.

The directorate has emphasized the importance of observing all safety rules at the beach. It also informed that emergencies can be reported via 911 in the Makkah, Madinah, and Eastern regions, or through the number 994 in other regions.
