Al-Ahsa: The General Directorate of Border Guards, in cooperation with the International Maritime Organization (IMO), is hosting the first regional workshop aimed at developing the maritime security strategy of the Djibouti Code of Conduct, from November 10 to 21, at the Interior Ministry’s Academy for Border Security in Al-Ahsa Governorate.
According to Saudi Press Agency, nineteen experts from 13 countries will participate in the workshop. Border Guards Director General Major General Shaya bin Salem Al-Wadaani emphasized that the workshop aims to strengthen coordination among participating countries to combat maritime and cross-border crimes, and protect sea corridors.
