Riyadh, Dr. Rashad Mohammed Al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council of Yemen, expressed his appreciation for the steadfast positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia concerning the issues of the Arab nation, emphasizing the defense of its identity and national security.

During his speech at the Joint Arab Islamic Extraordinary Summit, Dr. Al-Alimi stated that the recent events unfolding in the region reaffirm that Palestine remains and will remain the essence of Arab and Islamic consciousness, acting as the core of their national security. This is clearly evident in the official Arab stance, as well as in the collective support expressed in this summit, which upholds the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people. The primary focus is on the establishment of an independent and sovereign state for Palestinians in accordance with international legal resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative.

Dr. Al-Alimi called upon the Israeli occupation authority to recognize that the creation of an independent and sovereign state is the inevitable destiny for the Palestinian people's struggle. He emphasized the collective commitment to supporting this just right, with unwavering adherence to Arab and Islamic principles. Under no circumstances should there be any attempts to liquidate the Palestinian issue, force displacement, or threaten the interests and security of the region's people.

Furthermore, Dr. Al-Alimi stressed the importance of working alongside the international community and peace-loving nations to support comprehensive solutions for the Palestinian tragedy based on international legitimacy resolutions. He emphasized the need to address the root causes of violence, avoiding partial approaches contingent on an uncertain future solution. Instead, the focus should be on ensuring the sustainability of stability, peace, and prosperity for the people of the region.
