Madinah: The 25th annual meetings of the General Council for Islamic Banks and Financial Institutions (CIBAFI), a member of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), taking place on Wednesday in Madinah, will host the 45th annual “AlBaraka Symposium,” with the participation of member countries of the council, several regulatory and financial bodies, stakeholders, and experts.

According to Saudi Press Agency, for over forty years, the “AlBaraka Symposium” has played a pioneering role in developing Islamic banking and economics, both theoretically and practically.

The symposium addresses issues and solutions related to Islamic banking and finance, among other roles, which have strengthened its position in the field of Islamic finance and economics in general.
