Riyadh: The General Directorate of Civil Defense has issued a warning about heavy rains and potential flooding expected in several regions across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through next Tuesday. Residents have been advised to take necessary precautions, avoid areas prone to flooding, and adhere to safety guidelines disseminated through various media channels.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Makkah Region is forecasted to experience moderate to heavy rainfall, which may be accompanied by hail and strong winds. The Riyadh Region is also expected to witness moderate to heavy rain. Other regions anticipated to be affected by the weather conditions include Madinah, Hail, Qassim, Northern Borders, Eastern, Al-Baha, Aseer, and Jazan. The Najran Region, on the other hand, may experience lighter rainfall.
The Civil Defense urges residents in these areas to stay updated on weather developments and follow instructions from local authorities to ensure safety.
