Commerce Ministry Conducts Over 37,000 Inspection Visits for Ramadan


Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce conducted over 37,000 inspection and supply monitoring visits across the Kingdom over the past two months to ensure the availability of essential goods for the Ramadan 1447 AH season.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the inspections targeted retail outlets, central markets, and gas stations along routes to Makkah and Madinah. These efforts are aimed at verifying regulatory compliance and preventing price manipulation, crucial for maintaining a fair market environment.



Specialized teams have been deployed by the ministry to ensure a steady supply of Ramadan-related products. These initiatives are part of a broader strategy to protect consumer interests during the holy month, ensuring that essential goods remain accessible to all.
