Council of Arab Ministers of Communications and Information Technology Holds its 25th Session

Cairo, The Council of Arab Ministers of Communications and Information held virtually yesterday its 25th session, headed by Egypt’s Minister of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT) Dr. Amr Talaat. The meeting was organized by Arab League’s Technical Secretariat.

The Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha participated in the meeting.

In his speech, Dr. Talaat affirmed that this meeting is a continuation of the joint Arab action process to unify efforts and goals to achieve a digital Arab society whose center is the citizen and its pillar are communications and information technology tools, stressing the need to raise the efficiency of the digital information infrastructure and take it into account as one of the most important axes of joint Arab action due to its importance in laying the foundations of the digital economy.
