The Counter-Terrorism Service in the Kurdistan Region revealed that the explosion that occurred in Erbil Governorate on Friday evening was caused by a bomb explosion.

It mentioned in a statement; “According to the counter -Terrorism Service information, a bomb exploded today, Friday, at 6: pm, on a pedestrian bridge on Street 60 in the center of Erbil,”.

It added that the explosion “did not result in human injuries, indicating that investigations into the incident are continuing.”
