Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Iftar and Date Distribution Programs Launched in Nigeria

Nigeria: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has initiated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' iftar program and a gift of dates program in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The initiative is facilitated through the religious attach© at the Saudi Embassy in Nigeria.

According to Saudi Press Agency, more than 40,000 fasting individuals will benefit from the iftar program, while over 120,000 people will gain from the gift of dates program. A total of 30 tons of dates will be distributed. The distribution will be coordinated with accredited Islamic bodies to ensure that it reaches eligible recipients across various locations.

The ministry stated that these programs are a part of the Kingdom's mission to serve Islam and Muslims. They are aimed at reflecting care for Muslim communities worldwide and promoting solidarity and compassion during the holy month.
