Dammam: The iftar project for fasting persons, organized annually during Ramadan by an association for Dawah, guidance and expatriate community awareness in Dammam, attracts a large turnout of residents by providing iftar meals, promoting proper Islamic values, and strengthening social solidarity within the local community.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the head of the association, Dr. Abdulwahid Al-Mazrou, stated that the project has been running for over 25 years. It includes various religious, educational, and cultural programs, familiarizes residents with relevant laws and regulations, and organizes Umrah and Hajj trips, while engaging numerous volunteers in both field and organizational roles to foster a culture of volunteerism and a spirit of social responsibility.
