Digital Government Authority Partners with Industry Leaders for Innovation Challenge 2026

Riyadh:The Digital Government Authority (DGA) has introduced the latest edition of the Innovation Challenge Accelerator, known as GovJam, in collaboration with several prominent organizations including the Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority (Monsha'at), STV, Microsoft Saudi Arabia, NVIDIA, TASAMA, Amjad Watan, and GIE.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the challenge is designed to enhance cooperation between the government and private sectors, enabling startups and entrepreneurs to create innovative and sustainable digital services. It aims to build digital capabilities and cultivate a culture of innovation.

The initiative seeks to draw in innovators and creative professionals, involve beneficiaries in the design and improvement of digital government services, and speed up technology adoption. It also focuses on enhancing participants' digital skills and increasing user satisfaction.

The accelerator acts as a platform for learning and development, utilizing the expertise of specialists in innovation, digital service design, and emerging technologies. It provides opportunities for participants to build relationships and connect with a diverse community of innovators.

A variety of events and activities, including panel discussions and specialized workshops, are part of the program. Support from the DGA's Innovation Hub is available through business accelerators and the provision of technical expertise, as well as technological and financial resources to help participants develop innovative and viable solutions.

This year's edition of the program included participation from over 15 government entities and 15 startups, highlighting the increasing interest in digital innovation and its impact on improving digital services and the overall beneficiary experience.
