Jeddah: Director General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs branch in Makkah Region Fareed Al-Shehri received Consul General of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka M.T. Mohamed Laffar in Jeddah today. During the meeting, the consul general presented his consular credentials, and the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions between the Director General and the Consul General focused on enhancing bilateral relations and exploring avenues for cooperation. Both officials expressed a commitment to strengthening ties between Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka.
