Baghdad – The Minister of Interior, Lieutenant General Abdul Amir Kamel Al-Shammari, visited today the headquarters of the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology.

The Saudi Press Agency, SPA, stated that the Minister discussed with the Secretary-General of the Center, Mansour Al-Shammari, issues of common interest between the two sides in the field of combating extremist ideology.

During the visit, Al-Shammari was briefed on Etidal’s strategy in combating extremist ideology based on three digital, intellectual, and media axes.

Al-Shammari also toured the Command and Control Department, during which he learned about the monitoring and analysis mechanism, the techniques used, and the models that are being built and developed within the center.
