Riyadh: Weather conditions across various regions in Saudi Arabia are set to experience dust-stirring winds and varying weather patterns on Saturday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted winds that may cause dust disturbance in parts of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, and Eastern regions.
In addition to the winds, there is a possibility of light rain and fog formation in the highlands of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. These weather conditions could impact visibility and travel in these areas.
The weather forecast also details wind patterns over the Red Sea, where northeasterly to southeasterly winds are expected to shift to southwesterly to northwesterly during the afternoon in the northern and central parts, with speeds ranging from 14-34 km/h. In the southern part of the Red Sea, winds are anticipated to be southeasterly to southerly, with speeds between 15-50 km/h. The sea conditions are predicted to vary from calm to choppy, with waves ranging from half a meter to over two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be southeasterly to easterly at 15-45 km/h in the northern and central parts, while the southern part will experience westerly to southwesterly winds at 10-25 km/h. Similar to the Red Sea, the sea conditions in the Arabian Gulf are also expected to be calm to choppy, with waves reaching from half a meter to over two meters.
