Dust-Stirring Winds and Rain Expected Across Multiple Regions in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: Dust-stirring winds are anticipated to sweep across several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, Eastern, Tabuk, Madinah, Riyadh, and Najran. Moderate to heavy rain and hail are forecasted for parts of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and the Eastern regions.

According to Saudi Press Agency, temperatures are expected to rise during the day in parts of the Eastern Region. Additionally, fog formation is likely during the night and early morning hours in some areas of the region.

Wind patterns over the Red Sea will vary, blowing northwesterly to westerly in the northern and central parts, and northwesterly to northerly in the southern part at speeds ranging from 15 to 50 km/h. The wave height is predicted to vary from one to over two meters, with sea conditions ranging from calm to choppy.

In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will shift direction, blowing southwesterly to westerly in the northern part and easterly to northeasterly in the central and southern parts at speeds of 12 to 25 km/h. Wave heights in the Gulf will range from half a meter to one meter, resulting in relatively calm sea conditions.
