Riyadh: Weather conditions across several regions of Saudi Arabia are expected to be affected by dust-stirring winds and varying intensities of rain on Saturday.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the National Center for Meteorology has forecasted moderate to heavy rain accompanied by hail in the regions of Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, Makkah, and Madinah. In contrast, Najran is likely to experience light to moderate rainfall. Fog formation is also anticipated in these regions, extending to the Eastern Region.
Winds over the Red Sea are expected to vary, with northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts at speeds between 15-40 km/h, and southeasterly to southwesterly winds in the southern part at speeds of 10-50 km/h. The sea conditions will range from calm to choppy, with wave heights reaching from half a meter to over two meters.
In the Arabian Gulf, the winds will predominantly be northerly to northeasterly, blowing at speeds of 15-30 km/h. The sea is predicted to remain relatively calm, with waves reaching heights of half a meter to one and a half meters.
