Dust-Stirring Winds and Thunderstorms Expected Across Parts of Saudi Arabia

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has issued a weather forecast indicating dust-stirring winds across parts of Najran, Riyadh, Madinah, and Makkah regions on Monday. Thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds are anticipated over sections of the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom. The weather is expected to remain hot to extremely hot in areas of the Eastern Region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forecast details the wind patterns over the Red Sea, which will be northeasterly to southeasterly at speeds of 10-40 km/h in the northern and central areas, shifting to westerly to northwesterly at 25-50 km/h in the southern region. The sea conditions are projected to vary from calm to choppy, with waves ranging from half a meter to two meters.

Over the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be southeasterly to southwesterly in the northern and central parts, while in the southern area, they will be easterly to northeasterly at speeds of 10-25 km/h. The sea is predicted to remain calm with waves between half a meter and one meter.
