Riyadh: The Egyptian community and diplomatic mission in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia recently gathered to honor Ambassador Tarek El Meligy as he concluded his diplomatic mission in Riyadh. Ambassador El Meligy acknowledged the significant role of the Egyptian community in fortifying the longstanding ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia.

According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the ceremony took place under the auspices of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad - Saudi Arabia Branch, with the Egyptian community in the Kingdom and members of the Egyptian diplomatic mission in attendance. The event was also graced by the presence of the Egyptian Ambassador to Saudi Arabia, Ihab Abu Sarea, and Dr. Saeed Yahya, President of the General Union of Egyptians Abroad - Saudi Arabia Branch, along with members of the Union's Board of Directors.

During his speech, Ambassador El Meligy expressed his gratitude for the support and collaboration he received from the Egyptian community and the Saudi populace. He emphasized the enduring strength and unity between the leadership, government, and people of both countries, encapsulating his sentiments with the phrase, "You will only see us together."

The ceremony underscored the importance of the Egyptian community in Saudi Arabia, which is the largest Egyptian community abroad, in fostering and enhancing bilateral relations between the two nations.
